Round 1 of the 2022 AFL Draft was held on Monday night, and the Bombers could not be prouder. Our own Jedd Busslinger was taken at Pick 13 overall — the first pick of the night for the Western Bulldogs.
Congratulations to Jedd and to the whole Busslinger family on a genuinely momentous achievement. 2022 has been a massive year for Jedd on a lot of levels, and all of that work and sacrifice has paid off.
“Congratulations Jedd, reward for all your hard work,” wrote Rob Geersen. “Also congrats to Mum and Dad. I’m sure they are so proud of you.”
We cannot wait to watch this next chapter, and we will be cheering him on every step of the way.
Once a Bomber, always a Bomber.
