4th December 2014
The Coolbinia Bombers Junior Football Club are pleased to announce the birth of “StarKick”.
“StarKick” is a club initiative aimed to increase the participation in AFL Auskick and Mods sport programs for children with special needs. The initiative also aims to provide an ongoing community focused social and interactive environment for both the children and their families to enjoy.
As a club we promote a fully inclusive policy of participation in all of our football programs, however we also recognise some children, and their families, may not feel able nor comfortable to join in these existing programs.
As such from Season 2015 the Coolbinia Bombers JFC, is launching an all inclusive team to provide a pathway into sport for these children.
The team(s) are targeted to both Boys and Girls aged 5 to 12 years of age, that may have a disability that may otherwise dissuade them from joining into our existing teams. The StarKick program focus will primarily be on participation and fun in a team environment, and aims to cater for all disabilities.
